This is not a group. It’s just a space where people to get together to talk about rope stuff. There will not be any classes, but there will be a place to hang out and tie. Sometimes we will watch cool videos and tie together. We may take a look at a tie, deconstruct it and then discuss it. The space will be used to try new teaching approaches or new ties.
This space is like Switzerland. There are no political leanings. This space is about rope bondage. This is a space where I keep my dreams about what a rope space could be.
Rules are:
Don’t be an ass
No means no
Diversity is a strength
Keep your politics (lifestyle, or political leanings, at the door)
Respect everyone’s pronouns
Each one Teach One
All rope is good rope
Respect the space and make sure to stay on your best behavior
In addition to adhering to the rules, you must answer the following questions:
What is your definition of “Shibari”?
What is your definition of “Kinbaku”?
What is your definition of “Bondage”?

Send your answers to ennawa2018@gmail.com. Once you have sent your answers via email, they will be read and a decision will be made on whether you’ll be admitted. One answer is submitted for each person. Do not submit answers for groups/houses/rope families.
What is the rope cohort?
It is a 12 month program that provides small group instruction to people who apply and are accepted to the cohort. Ten to Twelve people will be selected to participate. Classes take place monthly in person and online resources will be provided before class starts for you to prepare. This approach to learning is meant to minimize the time spent on discussion in order to focus on application and deeper exploration of the ties to be studied.
The first cohort is currently in progress and applications to the second cohort will be available in October of this year.
